Costings and Comparisons
On 7th October 2010 the online price was 46,40€ for a 15Kg bag
The daily feeding cost for giving our 20Kg dog 250g of this food works out at 0,78€
A 15Kg bag of Pronature would last the 20Kg dog 60 days but a 15Kg bag of Burns Chicken & Maize would last around 75 days!!! The higher nutritional values of Burns account for the lower feeding quantities.
To feed the Natural Hypoallergenic Burns Chicken and Maize would be 0,77€ or, with Burns Chicken & Rice, 0,91€ per day.

Closing Notes
This is not a hypo-allergeic food due to the inclusion of wheat which can give rise to many allergies in dogs who - of course - are carnivours and rely on meat for their digestive systems to give as good as they can.
No percentage is given for the level of Chicken Meal and the use of 3 cereal products within the first 4 ingredients allows the Chicken Meal to appear first in the ingredients list. Extra salt has been added to give some extra flavour. At least it doesn't include real nasties although Brewer's Rice and Beet Pulp are not exactly valued ingredients.
