Closing Note
It does not specify dry chicken as the first ingredient so this is "fresh chicken" which is 75% water and it does not specify Chicken Meat so it is likely to contain very little actual meat - the content sourced from chicken carcases (after the meat has been removed!) is likely to be only around 6% although it also includes Chicken Digest - it also has additional salt which, together with the Chicken Digest are only flavour enhancers without which the dog would find the bowl of cereals rather unpalatable.
It contains Maize as the second ingredient - reasonably digestable but wheat is 3rd on the list and can be a source of allergies in many dogs. Combined with barley as the 6th ingredient it can clearly be seen that this is a food based heavily on cereals.
Animal fat is a low quality ingredient produced by forcing carcass left-overs through a fine mesh at high pressure.
There is also Sodium Hexametaphosphate (E452i) as a preservative which adds to the Sodium content.
