In this section we provide various snippets of information relating to different dog foods that are available - click on the "Details" button on the right to see our review of the product. We will add products to the list as and when clients ask us for advice on them so it certainly isn't a complete list! If you have a food that you would like us to cast an eye over just let us know the Brand, Variety and either the web site link for the ingredients and feeding guide or copy them off your bag - if you can't find the information on the manufacturers web site then they don't want you to know!

These are intended to provide you with the information necessary to allow you to make an informed choice on which dog food to feed your own pets.

We try to be objective in our reviews and our star ratings and you are free to add your reviews under the respective product or to comment on our Forums. Our ratings go from 0 (the ones we would avoid) up to 5 (really tops) - only those with ratings of 3, 4 & 5 would be considered for our own dogs (The foods we stock are all rated in this range). The ratings are based on our perception of quality as determined from the published ingredients list and feeding guide - the price is NOT an influence on the rating because there is a real balance between how much the companies spend on marketing and how much they spend on ingredients.

All costings and comparisons are based on an average 20Kg Adult dog.

You can also start by Googling each ingredient in turn - and add "dog food" to the query - you will be horrified by some of the things you find.
