Ruca is an 11-month old serra da estrela dog, pure breed, that was given to the shelter because he did not get along with the cats in the household. He does not like cats, true. He actually killed two cats. But it does not mean anything apart from the fact that he does not like cats. Apart from this, he is a very gentle dog, gets along with other dogs, males and females and is lovely and submissive with people. When he does not know someone, he is shy, you can see it on the movie how he comes on bent legs and with the tail low. But he comes when called, anyway. And with the time he gets better, he looses his shyness and gets attached to people. This just proves that in his previous home he was never given any attention.

Ruca is near Setubal but we will bring him to his future home wherever it is in Portugal.
